For more than ten years our advocates and lawyers provide practical legal assistance for the largest steamship companies, foreign shipping and agent companies, ship owners, managers, ferrymen.
Our firm constantly cooperates with state administrations of southern Russian sea ports, shipyards, customs agencies and accomplishes it’s activities in close collaboration with maritime lawyers of Mediterranean countries, of basin of Azov and Black Sea, England, USA. It gives us an opportunity/ enables us to represent ship owners’ interests more effectively.

Main activities:
- preparation and legal review of all contracts related to the activities of maritime and river transport, including time-charters, bareboat charters, contracts of marine agency service and mediation, ship management, crew management;
- registration and rewrite of ships, rights and burden on them in the State Register of Ships of the Russian Federation and in the Russian International Register of vessels, bareboat charter of the Russian Federation;
- registration of sea crafts, river-sea vessels and mixed sailing, cutters, yachts in the jurisdictions of “flags of convenience”: Belize, The Marshall Islands, Cyprus, Malta;
- legal matters of relationship with the crew, including consultation on layouts of wage payments, adjustment of disputes with crew members;
- legal assistance in maritime accidents: vessel collisions, public and private accidents, accidents with crew members, port installations damages, etc.;
- legal support of the vessel and cargo rescue, negotiations with life-guards;
- consultation and assistance in negotiations with law machinery and other state authorities;
- advise on arrest of ships and protection from seizure of vessels in Russia and abroad;
- assistance in preparing the document confirming the existence of a maritime claim, the legality of requirements, their scale;
- participation in the adjustment of disputes, including implementation of the talks with their insures and lawyers;
- preparation of necessary documents and assistance in the ship’s mortgage registration;
- assistance at charge of the mortgage vessels;
- representation the interests of ship owners at the customs clearance temporary importation of vessels on bareboat charter contract;
- consultation about maintenance the conditions of temporary importation;
- representation the interests of the ship owners by the wrongful acts under customs and other controlling units regarding to the ships repaired abroad;
- conducting of claim and court case work on disputes with contracting parties on contracts.
